Preparing for Your Visit

A little preparation helps you get the most out of your consultation or treatment.

  • Know your goals. Write down the concerns you want to address and, if helpful, bring photos of how you looked a few years ago.
  • Share your health history. List your medications, supplements, allergies and previous cosmetic treatments, including dates and products if you know them.
  • Ask about pre-treatment instructions. Some treatments require you to avoid sun exposure, certain skin care products or blood-thinning supplements beforehand. Your provider will tell you exactly what applies to you.
  • Plan around your calendar. Swelling, redness or bruising can occur after some procedures, so leave time before weddings, photos or travel.
  • Follow aftercare closely. Aftercare instructions protect your results; contact the spa if anything seems unusual after treatment.
